Individual therapy is a collaborative process in which authenticity and mutual respect is key. I love to work with clients to help them learn to have a healthy relationship with themselves and others. I tend to be a relational based therapist and encourage individuals to understand their sense of self through their development from their family of origin and inner-child work. I often use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when working with individual clients. I find that these two approaches when combined offer great success with my clients. I also enjoy working with adult clients on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, grief and loss, healthy relationships, self-worth, self exploration, trauma, and major life transitions.
